Canon announces large presence at printer conference.
Canon has announced it intends to occupy its biggest stand ever at the annual printer-industry event, Ipex.
International printer and ink cartridge manufacturer Canon has announced that it is intending to put out a large presence at this year's Ipex exhibition.
The firm stated that they will be occupying their biggest ever stand at the international printing conference, which is due to take place in Birmingham in May.
Trevor Dodsworth, head of product marketing in the Business Solutions sector of Canon UK, said: "The four years since Ipex 2006 have been a period of enormous change for Canon and our professional print customers. Last Ipex was the launch pad for the imagePRESS series, which marked Canon's real debut as a serious contender in the production colour marketplace.
" Since then we've worked consistently to develop a world-class range of professional print technologies, solutions and business development tools, all designed to help professional printers evolve their businesses and achieve better margins by creating new value-added services."
The firm's imagePRESS colour and monochrome printers were debuted to great praise at the 2006 event, which Canon says it hopes to replicate this year
