Printer manufacturer Epson will unveil the world's first white aqueous ink cartridges for package proofing and sample production at Labelexpo in Brussels later this month.

The Stylus Pro WT7900 is the latest addition to the group's large-format range and will go on show at the event from September 23rd to 26th.

Martin Johns, senior product manager of professional graphics at Epson UK, stated that the printer has been designed specifically for the high-end packaging market.

He added: "We have implemented technologies and features to address the specific requirements of the market, backed by Epson quality, speed and reliability."

Mr Johns went on to say that Beta-test feedback concerning the machine's ink cartridges has been positive and the company will demonstrate its ability to produce accurate proofs and a range of package mock-ups at the expo.

Earlier this month, a reviewer of the new Epson Stylus NX515 Wi-Fi printer commented that the machine enables users to produce documents and photos with just one set of printer ink cartridges.
