InkJet Printer Care Tips
Printers can be quite expensive, so it is worth learning a few care tips to ensure your device lasts as long as possible. According to printingupdate.com, although the cleaning and maintenance of a printer is obvious, it is alarming how few printer owners actually do it.
The blog details the following as useful care tips:
First, keep an eye out for dust, one of the "worst enemies" to electronic products. It can get anywhere, and, if it starts collecting on the print heads and rollers, it can create paper jams and result in the production of poor quality prints. Investing in a cover to protect the printer when it is not being used would be a good idea.
Of course, it may be the case that your printer does get clogged up over time. In which case it's a good idea to run a maintenance programme from the printer's control menu. This will try to unclog the machine and re-align any misplaced parts.
