Wireless printing is set to become the norm for printer ink customers who have iPhones and iPads. Technology company Apple has released the new Airprint wireless printing feature, which allows any device using the IOS 4.2 update to connect directly to HP's Eprinter range.

Airprint will allow printer cartridge customers to forgo downloading their images to a Mac or PC before creating hard copies. To gain access to the new technology, iPhone, iPad and iTouch customers just need to upgrade their ultra-mobile devices' existing software.

Apple is the first company to use HP's Eprint technology, which was debuted in June of this year on its new Palm WebOS. The Airprint feature doesn't even require mobile users to install the latest printer drivers on their system, the HP Eprint devices will do all the leg work.

Meanwhile, the Bolle BP-10 has just been unveiled. It is the first printer to incorporate an iPhone docking station.
