People wanting to make their offices greener could benefit from recycling, and using remanufactured toner cartridges.

According to A Billion Acts Of Green, as Earth Day 2011 approaches there are a variety of methods people can undertake to have a healthier environment at work.

Furthermore, Earth Day, which takes place on April 22nd, will give people the opportunity to become more energy-efficient in the office, the environmental campaign group claim.

The company hope that by the 2012 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, people and businesses will record their work-related green activities on its website.

On top of this, the organisation has advised people to switch to energy-efficient lighting, recycle everything possible and use remanufactured toner cartridges to become more energy efficient.

Recently, students at the University of Hertfordshire set up a recycling charity for toner cartridges as part of a final year project.

The money it raises will go to Age UK's Warmth campaign.
