If you have tried to print with a cyan ink cartridge and found that no ink is coming out, the issue may be a blocked printer head. Alternatively, if you have just changed the printer head, air may have got into the system.
To clean the nozzle of your cyan ink or printer head, you can open your printer’s software, where there will be an option for cleaning. This may require a few attempts before it works. To avoid future blockages, it’s best practice to clean out your printer every month.
Cyan Ink Cartridge Test Page
If cyan ink is not coming out of the nozzle after you have changed your test page, it’s likely that you have air in your printer system. You can try to clean the head a few times, but, if this doesn’t work, you can download and print this cyan test page. This works by forcing the air out of the system, without wasting the other ink colours.
If you right click on the image below and select ‘Save As’, you can then print your test page.
