Add AirPrint to your printer
AirPrint was introduced in November 2010, bringing with it a new kind of flexibility for print users as it allowed wireless printing for the first time.
It meant that people could get printing straight away, without having to install drivers or devices.
Now, most modern printers support Apple's software but many users are unaware of how to get older printers to work with AirPrint. For Mac users, you will need to download software called Printopia, which allows your wireless printer to connect to iOS devices. The software is free to trial for a restricted period or you can purchase it for lifetime access.
If you run Windows, then Collobos is the software that you need, but this comes with a subscription fee. Once you have downloaded either software, you will probably need to unzip the file to install it. When you have done this, it will start itself and all the available printers should be there to see.
