Brother is close to the end of a tour of its resellers and distributors, which sell printer ink cartridges and toner cartridges across the UK, to help them drive sales toward the end of the year.

On October 11th, the Brother BIG Ambition Roadshow headed off on visits to 18 locations across the country, giving guidance to sales teams, training staff on its varied product portfolio, and offering tips on how to meet customer demand.

Experts from Brother also unveiled its new colour laser printer range, giving resellers help on how to pitch these products to larger firms.

"Our channel partners have always been at the centre of our sales and marketing strategy and the BIG Ambition Roadshow is an extension of that. We're well known for being very hands on with our resellers and distributors, but we wanted to go even further to help them realise their revenue ambitions," Phil Jones, sales and marketing director at Brother UK, said.

The tour will finish on November 5th.

Earlier this month, Brother was named as offering Manufacturing Excellence at the annual British Office Supplies and Services awards.

Brother Releases Four New Printers Based Around Efficiency And Speed

Heavyweight ink and printer firm, Brother, has announced it has added four new digital colour units with a heavy focus on speed and efficiency, something which users will be pleased to hear.

The new units offer a category-leading colour print speed of up to 19 pages per minute and also offer good networking capabilities and Brother’s own LED print technology. It is hoped that these technologies will appeal to businesses working with time constraints.

The models will go on sale shortly and are being dubbed a smart choice for business owners keen on convenience and affordability. Three of the new units will also be compatible with Brother’s iPrint&Scan downloadable printing app.

Steven Feldstein, director of marketing, laser products and scanners at Brother, said: “These new units offer significant value in both time and money with faster color printing, savings gained by printing in-house and overall reliability."

Brother is one of the leading printing companies in the world.

Brother Invites Firms To Share Advice With Top Business Brains

Printer ink maker Brother is inviting the UK's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to submit questions to some of Britain's top business figures, with the chance to win £5,000.

Teaming up with online business support firm Smarta, the Business Ambitions project is designed to help SMEs and entrepreneurs get the "inside track" on business development.

Brother is organising a series of question-and-answer sessions with six representatives from UK business, and is giving small business owners the chance to ask their own burning questions.

All firms need to do is submit a question to Smarta and they will be in with a chance to secure two hours mentoring from one of the business boffins.

And the firm that shares the best advice stands to win a technology makeover worth up to £5,000 – "a fantastic opportunity to get your business in the best shape possible for the year ahead", Brother said.

Brother recently completed a tour of its UK resellers, offering advice and practical guidance to firms across the country.
