Brother Aims For 15 Percent Share Of Laser Printer Market

Brother is aiming for a 15 per cent share in the Indian laser printer market.

The company is rolling out three new mono-laser models, along with a variety of mono-laser, colour and inkjet multifunction printers in a bid to satisfy the market.

Yoshiji Matsui, managing director, Brother International India, said: “We envisage a significant demand for the mono- laser category in the Indian market and aim to double our business in this category this year by achieving greater satisfaction and support from Indian customers with reliable, affordable and efficient products.”

Mr Matsui went on to say that the new range of products is a result of constant innovation when it comes to developing and improving on technologies for the needs of individual markets.

The company is up against a variety of rivals in the market, including HP, Dell and Samsung, making it vital for their technology to be as good as possible in order to satisfy consumers.
