Canon ImageClass LBP6670dn Commended For Its Speed
the Canon ImageClass LBP6670dn monochrome laser has been commended for its fast speed.
Jon L Jacobi from PCWorld.com has described the system's paper handling as "top-notch", explaining that there is a 250-sheet, bottom-mounted cassette and a fold-down 50-sheet multipurpose tray.
"For a small to medium-sized workgroup, the ImageClass LBP6670dn will process jobs quickly with pretty good quality. Toner costs are expensive, but they are doable for medium workloads (of 200 pages maximum per day) with the high-capacity cartridge," Mr Jacobi explained.
The review follows the release of Canon's PIXMA PRO-10 and PIXMA PRO-100 devices, which are developed with the same quality of output and design as the original PIXMA PRO-1 hardware.
He added that the model's performance is its strong point, specifying that monochrome pages are printed at 23.5 pages per minute on the PC and 21.8ppm on the Mac.
However, Mr Jacobi admitted that an uneven effect on large fonts and black areas was noticed, making the text look "splotchy" under certain lighting.
