Simon Williams from the website has spoken highly of the machine's easy change cartridges, while its easy wireless setup and energy efficient design have also been commended.

However, he admitted that its small paper tray was a drawback, while its lack of a front panel USB socket was also cited as an issue.

As well as producing printers, Canon has also organised the 2013 Canon Media awards, which has seen a record number of entries.

The Newspaper Publishers' Association is impressed with the level of entries, which featured work from press photographers and journalists.

"Canon’s i-SENSYS LBP7110Cw is a good, inexpensive colour laser printer, which produces quality black text and colour graphic pages," Mr Williams went on to say.

He explained that the machine is not great at reproducing photos, but remains a better option than many of its rivals in the market.
