The team at has given the Canon PIXMA MP270 all-in-one printer its seal of approval.

The printer reviewing team at has given the Canon PIXMA MP270 all-in-one printer a solid review after commending the product for its affordability and suitability for a student or home worker.

It has all the basic functions of an all-in-one printer, including Auto Photo Fix II technology, which takes care of red-eye removal and multi-zone exposure correction without using a PC.

Meanwhile there's also a separate PictBridge-enabled USB port at the front of the printer for attaching cameras or memory sticks.

The model was criticised for a slightly disappointing amount of printer ink, with just two cartridges provided for all its printing needs, which equates to around 401 pages of black text or 349 colour pages.

The review's final verdict read: "Although you may find yourself getting through the ink cartridges relatively quickly, both the quality of the prints and the speed of operation were impressive and, for the price, the PIXMA MP270 would be an excellent choice for a low-yield all-in-one."
