Individuals and families in the market for a new printer may be interested to hear that reviews of the Canon Pixma iP2702 printer suggests it may not be the perfect solution for discerning consumers.

A review by PC World praises the printer for its affordability, suggesting that its low purchase price may blind a few customers, who are not necessarily schooled in what to look out for in a good printer. But the lacklustre speed and plain-paper print quality, combined with high printer ink costs, mean that this piece of technology may not provide a printing solution for anyone not an extremely tight budget.

Concluding, Jon L. Jacobi and Melissa Riofrio wrote: "This ink cartridge printer may be cheap to buy, but its high ink costs and mediocre performance make it less of a bargain than you'd think."
