Businesses looking for a cheap device that is strong in terms of printing colour photos have been told that the Canon Pixma ip3600 may suit their needs.

Simon Williams has written for Trusted Reviews that the photo prints created by the Canon offering are excellent, particularly through the real-world natural colours provided through the ink.

Meanwhile, each image is said to have high levels of detail in both dark and light tones and gradients are smooth.

However, users may find the occasional issue when opting to print in black ink.

Mr Williams explained: "Black text does show a few signs of ink spikes, where the ink has flowed along the paper fibres.

"Colour graphics are generally clean and bright and text over colour shows little sign of any bleed."

Furthermore, economy is increased as there are separate tanks for all different colour inks.

Canon recently put out a large presence at the Ipex exhibition, which is an annual printer-industry event that was held last month in Birmingham.
