Recent global occurrence in Japan with reports of the well publicised earthquake and tsunami. Well known global corporations such as Canon , Epson and Kyocera have been affected with factories or buildings suffering structural damage due to the quake.  The consequences as such have caused problems with the manufacture and sales of ink and toner cartridges production at these facilities and offices.

Kyocera had some minor infrastructural problems relating to the uncertainty of electricity supply or logistics at some facilities, but are due to continue production , Canon has a also lost some of it's factories for weeks maybe months and Epson has halted it's Exhibition in Tokyo.
