Printer Ink Technology From Canon Wins EDP Award
Canon has won an award for its printer ink technology from the European Digital Press Association (EDP).
The company's Canon imagePrograf iPF8300 won the EDP's Best Photographic Printer of the Year 2011 accolade at the Federation of European Screen Printers Association's (FESPA) ceremony.
Furthermore, the EDP noted that Canon's printer ink device gives users plenty of options when they come to producing documents.
Gill Mussell, product manager in large format printers at Canon, said: "The innovative digital imaging and ink technologies in this printer deliver large format prints of outstanding quality and with the broadest available colour gamut, allowing professional users to take full advantage of the growing business opportunities in large format."
She added the company was delighted to win the EDF award.
Recently, a garden at the Royal Horticultural Society's (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show won a first for its design, which incorporated large format prints produced by a CanonPrograf iPF9100 device.
