Canon USA Unveils New Large Format Printers
Canon USA has revealed four new 36-inch imagePROGRAF large format printers.
The iPF765 MFP, and iPF760 MFP devices are Energy Star-certified, featuring a sub ink tank system, which guarantees that printing is not interrupted.
Each of the devices also boasts a horizontal stacking basket for 24 inch x 36 inch plots, guaranteeing that prints will remain flat after they have been completed.
Sam Yoshida, vice-president and general manager of marketing and business at Imaging Solutions Group, Canon USA, said: "The update to the imagePROGRAF printers represents Canon's dedication to companies in the large format printing market."
Mr Yoshida went on to say that, thanks to the new flatbed stacking feature, users' productivity and efficiency has been enhanced.
News of Canon USA's latest models follows HP's announcement that it is to manufacturer a new range of lightweight paper, entitled HP Paper Thin.
The business has claimed that the paper will assist in reducing the environmental impact caused by paper storage by 22 per cent.
