Canon PIXMA MG8250 Inkjet Printer Wins Best Product 2012 Award
Canon has been praised after six of its devices picked up prizes which were given by the prestigious Technical Image Press Association (TIPA).
The Canon PIXMA MG8250 inkjet printer was among those which were recognised at the TIPA Awards event, honoured with Best Multifunction Photo Printer.
It received praise for its sleek design and enhanced connectivity, which allows users to connect via the new PIXMA Cloud Link and from wireless mobile devices.
It was lauded as a "very desirable tool for every photo enthusiast" and is capable of realising a maximum resolution of 9,600x2,400 dots per inch.
The PIXMA MG8250 also features a six-ink system, which makes it possible to print high quality photos measuring up at 10x15cm in just 20 seconds.
The other products which picked up prizes from the TIPA Awards were the EF8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM with interchangeable lens, the EOS-1D X digital SLR camera, the EOS Mark III digital SLR Camera, Powershot G1 X compact digital camera and EOS C300 digital cinema camera.
The other printing prize given out at the ceremony went to the Epson Stylus Photo 1500W, which was named Best Expert Photo Printer.
