Canon Announces New Selphy CP900 Photo Printer
Canon has unveiled its SELPHY CP900 printer, which aims to provide fast Wi-Fi printing.
Users can browse and unlock images from any computer connected to the same network, before sending them directly to the system, while owners of Android and Apple smartphones can also send images to the device.
Yuichi Ishizuka, executive vice president and general manager of imaging technologies and communications group at Canon USA, said: "The addition of Wi-Fi connectivity offers users the flexibility and convenience to print from a variety of situations without sacrificing the overall quality of the output."
The printer also boasts a 2.7-inch LCD screen, meaning that it offers double the overall resolution of any other Canon Compact Photo Printer.
This new printer comes after Canon recently boosted its global presence by introducing a new consumer printer campaign focused on the PIXMA E series.
It is entitled Can A Printer Print Love? and is endorsed by Bollywood actress Anusha Sharma.
