Canon Pixma MX715 Justifies Price Tag
Canon's Pixma MX715 printer has justified its price tag, according to one reviewer.
The device follows in the footsteps of the MX515, with PC Advisor writer Robin Morris noting that the two systems look "very similar".
As well as this, the MX715's performance was lauded by the reviewer, who noted that its speed is quicker than the ink cartridges provider's own estimate.
"The Canon MX515 was a rarity in that our real-world speed score exceeded the manufacturer's estimate. The MX715 repeats the feat, and it knocks out copy in the fast and normal modes at the rate of 12.7 and 8.9ppm respectively," he explained.
The writer went on to say that the MX715 uses five ink cartridges, with two of these being black.
He predicts that colour ink will be 4.9p per page, while black will be roughly 3.1p.
The MX715 is far from the only Canon option available for consumers as, earlier this month, it unveiled its SELPHY CP900 printer, which aims to offer fast Wi-Fi printing.
