Canon Unveils Additions To PIXMA PRO Series
Canon has introduced additions to its PIXMA PRO-series of inkjet printers.
The PIXMA PRO-10 and PIXMA PRO-100 devices are built with the same quality of output and design as the original PIXMA PRO-1 hardware, offering exceptional ink cartridges that reproduce the quality of photographs.
Yuichi Ishizuka, executive vice president and general manager, Imaging Technologies and Communications Group at Canon USA, said: "The additions of the PIXMA PRO-10 and PIXMA PRO-100 printers to the PIXMA PRO-series lineup provide photographers with a number of options to satisfy their printing needs."
Mr Ishizuka went on to say that Canon is the only business that offers a complete imaging system from input to output for professionals.
Despite this announcement, the ink specialist has come in for some criticism, with Computer Shopper claiming that its Pixma MG220 printer is slow and carries high costs.
William Harrel from the site also noted its wasteful ink cartridges system as a drawback.
