Canon has added two new printers to its imageCLASS range, which aim to meet the needs of small businesses and consumers.

The MF8280Cw and MF8580Cdw machines enable users to print from anywhere in their home or office, with both of the systems supporting the 802.11 b/g/n wireless protocol, resulting in a cable-free solution for printing documents,

Sam Yoshida, vice president and general manager, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon US, said: "To remain competitive in this market, home and office users need workhorse products that produce professional quality output at affordable prices.

"The new Colour imageCLASS laser multifunction printers are high-performance machines that include necessary functions such as wireless connectivity to help create an efficient work environment."

The imageCLASS MF8589Cdw printer outputs at up to 21ppm in both colour and black ink, with the machine improving quality by utilising imaging technologies such as Auto Graduation Adjustment and Pure Black Technology.
