The Canon PIXMA MX925 printer has received eight out of ten from a writer at TrustedReviews.

Simon Williams from the website explained that the machine has a low purchase price, offers good quality printing and provides shorter pauses in duplex print.

However, Mr Williams admitted that the system has a bulky case, while its USB drive printing capabilities are awkward.

"Print quality is as good as we've come to expect from Canon printers. Black text dark and crisp, almost laser quality and fast mode is a little lighter, but still very readable – perhaps it should be renamed ink-save," he explained.

Mr Williams noted that colour graphics from the PIXMA MX925 on plain paper are also solid and do not suffer from dither patterns.

In recent weeks, Canon added two printers to its range of imageClASS printers.

The MF8280Cw and MF8580Cdw models allow users to print from anywhere in their home or office.
