Canon Launches Ink Comix Application
Ink Cartridge manufacturer Canon has launched its new Comix application, offering a new way to turn videos and still images into personalised comic strips.
These creations can then be printed and shared with friends, bringing people’s own experiences to life. Also, comic strip templates, photo filters and poster effects are all available, along with a variety of font styles.
Yuichi Ishizuka, executive vice president and general manager, imaging technologies and communications group, at Canon, said: “The Canon PIXMA Comix application enables photo and video enthusiasts to easily apply comic book styling to their images, and share their story.
“We always strive to enhance the Canon consumer experience, and with this application, it’s easy to get creative with a home printer by printing personalized comic strips to enjoy for years to come.”
Furthermore, Canon’s full HD Movie Print technology enables users to select and print specific frames of a video, meaning that each special moment can be captured and used as an individual digital image.
