Canon has launched new cloud-enabled printers in the Indian market.

It has added the five machines to its PIXMA lineup, offering advanced features and design concepts to provide wireless and smart device connectivity.

The PIXMA MG7170, PIXMA MG6470, PIXMA MG3570, PIXMA MG2570 and MG2470 are to benefit from the technology.

Dr Alok Bharadwaj, executive vice president of Canon India, said: "We are excited with the introduction of the new range of colourful Inkjet all-in-one printers which have been designed keeping in mind the emerging tech-savvy youth in India who prefer using smart devices, social networking, mobility and connectivity on-the-go."

The representative added that the technology will help Indian households become more connected with services such as Wi-Fi and the cloud.

As part of the marketing for the new machines, Canon is aiming to create its largest recorded print image by inviting people to produce documents using the new range.
