The Dell 5130cdn colour laser printer has been praised for aiming high and pretty much succeeding

The Dell 5130cdn colour laser printer has received a rave review from Business Week for aiming high on all counts and nearly succeeding.

It is described as having the speed and features that a high-volume office requires and is "on target" with its nearly perfect print quality, while any reservations over the price of the system should be ignored with its cheap cost per page value.

Commenting on the printer, the review's author Jon L. Jacobi, wrote: "The Dell 5130cdn is a nicely designed workhorse of a color laser printer with the speed of a thoroughbred."

He does suggest that if "it's a bit too rich for your blood, however, check out the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise CP4025dn, which costs a couple hundred less, is almost as fast, and has smoother (but also darker) print quality".

In terms of printer ink, 5130cdn comes with standard-size supplies, including a 9000-page black toner cartridge, and 6000-page cyan, magenta and yellow toner cartridges.
