New tools aimed at helping business, law, healthcare and education professionals make the best of their printer ink have been unveiled by Dell.

The four new printer solutions are designed to meet the diverse needs of mobile customers in these sectors by enabling them to benefit from one-touch reliability and proximity printing technology. Printer cartridge users can enjoy this functionality without having performance compromised by not only printing forms on demand, but also sending documents to custom network locations and setting file limits for scanned jobs when time is tight.

According to Tim Peters, vice president of imaging at Dell, the firm's introduction of eight black and white laser printers earlier in the year and these new tools highlight how it is committed to delivering customer-relevant technologies. "This launch is a prime example of how Dell listens to customers and develops intuitive technology that increases print management efficiencies without breaking IT budgets," he said.

Dell's 1130n printer was recently praised by Trusted Reviews, which was impressed by its chic design, but not its ink consumption.
