The Dell B1260dn printer has been awarded eight out of ten in a new review.

Simon Williams from Trusted Reviews explained that the machine benefits from an easy eco mode, small footprint and a range of cartridge yields, but he did cite some negatives.

Mr Williams noted that there is no Wi-Fi availability from the model, while its paper tray protrudes from the back.

“If you want something on step-up from an entry-level mono laser, Dell’s B1260dn offers duplex print, network as well as USB connection and a fair turn of speed. Its eco credentials are good and easy to apply via the driver or control panel,” he stated.

Mr Williams stated that consumers may need to use the toner save option in order to keep the machine’s running costs under control.

It is imperative that consumers assess the running costs of specific machines, or they could be left with high expenses in the long run.
