Those on the lookout for a workhouse personal printer will find that the Dell 1130n Laser Printer is a perfectly acceptable choice if acquired at the right price.

That is the opinion of David Stone, who reviewed the device for PC Mag and highlighted that the model does the job in every area without being particularly impressive.

He explained that the printer failed to set the world alight in areas including speed and output quality, but worked well enough to compete the basics.

Mr Stone indicated that quality of the printer ink in terms of text was good and that there could be no complaints except from those with a regular desire to print in extremely small font or need the ultimate in terms of quality.

Furthermore, he remarked that for everyday use the graphics output was fine, but important documents may be best served if printed using another device.

Dell launched a new range of ink cartridges earlier this year, with the Dell NextLife Ink being made entirely from ink cartridges that had been recycled.
