Epson showcases POS solutions
Epson exhibited its Point of Sale (POS) solutions at the National Retail Federation's 103rd annual convention and expo.
As part of the technology, the printer plays a central role, providing an easy solution for developers and retailers. Epson will also host six partners in its booth, with these all working seamlessly with the company's ePOS technology. Gregg Brunnick, director of marketing, Epson America business systems division, said: "Epson’s ePOS technology solves the problem, offering retailers a way to embrace new technologies that speed deployment, enhance functionality and reduce costs."
Mr Brunnick went on to say that retailers that embrace mobile and web-based POS are faced with challenges such as managing wireless printing and peripheral devices in the industry. AnyGuest.com, Beehivr and Raymark are three of the partners set to work in tandem with Epson, enabling the company to provide a range of different services, including Bluetooth apps.
