Epson announces release of two new ink cartridge printers
Businesses that operate a network printing environment may be interested to hear that Epson America announced the release of two new high-volume business inkjet printers yesterday (March 9th).
The B-310N and the B-510DN are designed for small to medium businesses that need high-volume colour network printing.
They offer "high-yield" DURABrite Ulta ink cartridges with a low ink cost per colour page, a whopping 650-sheet paper capacity and not to mention two-way paper feeding capabilities.
Printercomparison.com also reports that the B-310N uses four unique high-capacity cartridges that Epson estimates can print 3,000 to 3,500 pages before needing to change ink cartridges, which equates to a few pence per colour page.
Meanwhile the higher end B-510DN delivers an even lower cost at an estimated 7,000 to 8,000 pages and prints at around 19 pages per minute in black and 18 pages per minute in colour.
Last month the fifth generation Epson TM-T88V, which is designed to handle high levels of work while maintaining good levels of energy efficiency, received an Energy Star Award.
