Epson Printer Scoops Top Award
One of printer ink maker Epson's Stylus printers has been awarded a prestigious quality accolade at a recent trade show. The firm's Epson Stylus Pro 4900 received a Photokina STAR award following its launch at the trade show of the same name, which was held in Cologne, Germany.
Devices eligible for STAR awards are assessed on their individual innovation and the forward-thinking technologies they offer consumers. Roland Franken, a member of the judging panel, said that although the Stylus Pro 4900 was a studio printer, it was still "much more compact and lighter than other products offering similar productivity and print quality".
We are delighted to have received a Photokina STAR award at this year's show. This award recognises the flexibility and productivity of the Epson Stylus Pro 4900 as well as its ability to deliver high quality prints on a wide range of media," Marco van Niekerk, senior product manager for Epson Europe, said.
Able to print on media up to 1.5 millimetres thick, the 4900 holds an 11-colour ink set and has space for 200 millilitre high capacity ink cartridges.
