Epson Launches WorkForce Printers
Epson has launched its new WorkForce printers, which have been engineered to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
The Epson WorkForce WF-7011 colour A3 single function printer and the WorkForce WF-7511 are the first two models in the series, with the latter being the company's first A3 inkjet all-in-one model.
The devices utilise high-capacity Epson 143 DURABrite Ultra pigment ink and have Ethernet and Wi-Fi functionality built into them.
Samba Moorthy, director of sales and marketing, said: "The Epson WorkForce A3 printers have been designed to provide our business customers a truly exhaustive set of imaging and printing capabilities with low running cost."
Ms Moorthy suggested that there is "virtually nothing" that the models cannot do.
However, Epson will have strong competition in the market, especially since Xerox launched its ColourQube 8700/8900 Colour Multifunction Printers.
The devices make use of solid ink technology to produce high quality prints, while their small size enables them to be easily fitted into offices.
