Epson Named As Sponsor Of Audubon Photography Awards

Printer ink company Epson has been confirmed as the official inkjet printer sponsor of Audubon Magazine's annual photography awards.

The contest features more than 10,000 photo entries on an annual basis, and Epson has involved itself in the competition to signal its commitment to providing photographers with the appliances they require, embracing their creativity.

Richard Day, group product manager of professional imaging at Epson America, said: "Epson's innovative, industry-leading printing technology enables photographers to showcase the true colour and intensity of their photographs."

In order to boost the quality of photo prints, Epson has released its Stylus Photo R3000 model, which boasts high capacity ink cartridges and AccuPhoto HD2 image technology, enabling better detail on photographs.

It is also not the first time Epson has sponsored such an event, as it was named as the official inkjet printer and paper partner for the 2012 Nature's Best Photography Windland Smith Rice International Awards Exhibition earlier this year.
