Ink company Epson has introduced its first ever inkjet-based dry photo lab, which is entitled the SureLab SL-D3000.

It offers low costs, improved flexibility and easier maintenance via an ultra-reliable print head, as well as an UltraChrome D6 ink set.

The lab delivers high-quality print production on glossy, matte and luster media that is measured up to 12 inches.

Epson Philippines sales head Jino Alvarez said: "We are most excited and pleased to offer our first digital photo dry lab to produce prints of the high quality expected from us; bringing added value to [our client's] customers."

Mr Alvarez went on to say that Epson is associated with the highest quality of professional photo printing.

Epson's technology was recently utilised by The Royal Academy Schools, which made use of an on-site Digital Media Suite from the company.

The facility allowed students to experiment with different materials and make their work appear more attractive.
