Epson Expression Home XP 405 Awarded 7 Out Of 10

The Epson Expression Home XP-405 printer has been awarded seven out of ten in a recent review. commended the system for its print quality, noting that there is very little misalignment between different passes of the print head, while colour is also effectively reproduced.

The website added that the system's photo printouts showed high levels of detail, but admitted that there was less definition with darker shades.

"The Epson Expression Home XP-405 is an above-average home or home office all-in-one. In its favour are its small footprint, easy-to-use control panel with touch buttons and it’s versatile printing from mobile devices, both locally and remote," reviewer Simon Williams said.

Mr Williams stressed that the system is not cheap to run, which may dissuade those looking for a budget printer.

Recently, Epson's WorkForce WF-7520 printer was reviewed by, which praised the hardware's crisp photo qualities.
