The Epson Expression Photo XP-850 printer has been described as a mixed bag by a writer at Williams complimented the system's three paper feed sources, touch panel controls and its unusually small footprint, but criticised its slow print speed and tray, which does not retract automatically.

"While it has a lot of the functions you would expect from a premium machine, some design choices, such as its inability to fold its trays away, and it’s indifferent print quality on plain paper, don’t fit expectations," Mr Williams stated.

He praised Epson's Android application, describing it as "quick and easy" to use.He advised consumers to compare the machine to high-end offerings from Canon and HP before committing to a purchase. The Epson XP-850 uses the brand new aptly named Elephant ink series the Epson T24 ink cartridges.

Being mainly used for photo printing the Epson XP850 offers some quality prints with such a great value printer. The XP-850 is not the slimmest of printers, yet for the price the machine has the power to handle most jobs thrown at it.When asking yourself which printer to purchase, why not have a look at the XP-850 compare the printing speeds, costs of ink and decide on whether the all in one is a right fit for you.
