Epson Announces New South African Distributor
Ink company Epson has boosted its presence in South Africa by appointing Raluca as a specialist distributor for its wide-format printers.
The ink cartridges company decided to bring in the firm in an effort to expand its reach into the South African public sector and the corporate environment, as the company has a number of well-established relationships in such sectors.
Bernadette Thompson, managing director of Raluca, said: "We offer a combination of significant industry experience and knowledge that is further enhanced by our commitment to working with the public and private sectors to customise the best possible solutions for each client’s requirements."
Ms Thompson stated that the company's passion for Epson means it was an easy decision to focus solely on its products.
Last month, Fibre2Fashion.com reported that Epson has entered the dye sublimation market for the first time by launching two roll-fed dye sublimation printers.
The 44-inch SureColour SC F6000 and 64-inch SureColour SC-F7000 offer high quality output at up to 720 x 1440dpi on all leading transfer papers.
