Epson WorkForce WF 2540 Misses The Mark
The Epson Workforce WF-2540 has been noted for its high quality text output, but writers believe the system has several flaws.
Jon Jacobi and Melissa Riofrio reviewed the machine for PC Advisor, praising its high standard of text and graphics output as well as its USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The two experts did underline some faults with the machine, however, explaining that ink costs are expensive and glossy photos are produced at slow speeds.
"The Epson WorkForce WF-2540 All-in-One Printer is attractively priced, and the triple USB/Ethernet/Wi-Fi connectivity is appealing, but taken as a whole - Epson missed the mark with this one," the review read.
Recently, Epson unveiled its Expression Premium range, which has printers that are 40 per cent smaller than the machines produced by the company last year.
The systems have been developed for maximum usability, with data being collected from previous users in an effort to make them as efficient as possible.
