Epson Introduces Wireless Printers To Kenyan Market
Epson has introduced two new wireless printers to the Kenyan market.
Humanipo.com has reported that the Epson L355 and L550 have email and iPrint capabilities, while they also enable mobile devices to run on Android and iOS platforms.
However, users will need to download the iPrint application and connect via Wi-Fi, while documents no larger than 10MB can be printed.
Mukesh Bector, Epson’s regional sales manager for East Africa, said: “The increased use of smartphones and tablets as the main gadgets to access the internet, the increased apps that allow the creation of documents and the use of the phone as a camera has led to Epson creating such solutions and products.”
The representative emphasised that mobile printing is now necessary because people are looking for new ways to boost their mobile productivity.
iPrint enables wireless scanning and emailing, while Epson Connect enables users to store their emails so they can be easily accessed by the printer’s control panel.
