Epson A3 Printer Picks Up Japanese Award

Epson's EP-976A3 compact all-in-one A3 printer has been honoured in the Japanese 2013 Good Design Awards.

The awards recognise designs that enrich life and society, with the model designed for people who want a high-performance printer capable of releasing A3 sheets thst can be installed in the same space as an A4 all-in-one.

The HP Designjet ePrinter portfolio includes HP Designjet ePrint & Share, which is a free service that enables people to access, view and print large-format documents using an Android or Apple tablet, a smartphone or a notebook.

Ramon Pastor from Epson said: "We have seen a great shift in how architecture, engineering and construction firms work, evolving from teams operating out of a central location to a rising number of remote workgroups with increased firm-to-firm collaboration."

Mr Pastor added that extending the company's new design features to a MFP will improve productivity and enhance a number of working environments.
