Best ink cartridge printers on the market debated
Enthusiasts of all things that print and use ink may be interested to hear the musings of a technology writer who has weighed up the pros and cons of some of the best printers on the market.

Writing for the Financial Times, Paul Taylor said that he was recently shocked at how much money he was spending on ink cartridges and decided to invest in a duplex monochrome laser printer.

He added: "This is not so easy nowadays when most people want to be able to print colour but, although the choice for high-quality mono printers is limited they do exist.

"I was looking for a device that was cheaper to run - in terms of cost per page printed - and at least as fast as a colour printer, whether laser or inkjet. Generally printing costs are higher for an inkjet than a laser, and colour more expensive than monochrome."

In conclusion he thought the Hewlett-Packard LaserJet Pro P1606dn was the best printer for his needs as it was easy to set up and operate.
