Small businesses can get the best out of their toner cartridges by opting to use the HP Colour LaserJet CP3525dn printer, which has been awarded seven out of ten possible stars by a reviewer.

Highlighting the printer's ability to deliver "reliably good print and to do it quickly", Simon Williams of Trusted Reviews said the product is a large, photocopier-style colour laser printer that requires a lot of space. Unlike most laser printers, its 250-sheet paper tray takes A4 paper in landscape mode, sucking it in from the right-hand side of the tray and releasing the end product on the left onto the printer's top surface.

Those opting for the machine can look forward to faster turnarounds as it "prints quickly, particularly in duplex mode, and produces fair text and graphics, though less effective photo prints", according to the author. Mr Williams concluded: "It's a bit more expensive to run than some but maintenance costs should be low, as toner capacities are higher than with many printers in this price range".

The new Dell 1130n was also recently praised by Trusted Reviews, despite its printer ink costs.
