HP Launches Its Fastest Printing Press With New Ink Technology

Ink, printer and computer maker Hewlett-Packard (HP) has released its newest, fastest and most commercially productive digital colour press.

The HP T400 Colour Inkjet Web Press can print up to 5,200 full-colour letter size pages per minute, which is 44 per cent more productive than its closet competitor, HP stated.

HP revealed the new press at the offices of O'Neil Data Systems in Los Angeles.

Christopher Morgan, senior vice president in graphics solutions business at HP, said: "With more than 25 installations worldwide, our inkjet web press systems are changing the business dynamics of applications, such as publishing, transpromo and direct mail."

The expert added that the HP T400 offers high-quality imaging with updated printer ink technology and the new HP A10 print heads, which provide high ink quality, reliability, speed and productivity.

HP has also just released a range of business laptops, which provide customers with 32 hours of battery life in its EliteBook 8460p.
