HP LaserJet Pro 200 Colour MFP MS276nw Criticised For High Running Costs
The HP LaserJet Pro 200 Colour MFP MS276nw has been criticised for its high running costs.
Writing for Computer Shopper, William Harrel explained that the machine provides good print and scan quality, but does not offer automatic two-sided printing.
However, he particularly highlighted its cost per page, noting: "Even with the higher-yield black cartridge, both the monochrome and color CPPs are far higher than what we expect for a color laser printer.
"Indeed, the numbers make this one of the costliest-to-use printers we’ve seen in quite some time."
Mr Harrel stated that he would have preferred HP to add more onto its purchase price rather than charge so much for consumables.
The cost of ink cartridges is something that consumers should keep in mind when they when they look for a new machine.
Even though a system will be inexpensive at face value, toner cartridges will cause people to spend more in the long run, meaning a more expensive printer would have been a better option.
