Site Offers First Look At New HP Ink Cartridge Printer

A leading printer comparison site has offered consumers the first look at the new HP Photosmart Premium range.

The model boasts a 3.45 inch touch screen display which is surrounded by the printer manufacturer's TouchSmart control panel. It will also offer standard printing speeds of up to 12 pages per minute and boasts that it can print a 4x6 photograph in as fast as 16 seconds.

Many different connectivity features, including wireless and Ethernet, are also available, as well as built-in duplexing, HP's Auto Sense and a built-in memory-card reader which is also compaitible with USB.

Some models of the HP Photosmart Premium range will also include scanner capabilities as well as an in-built fax machine, making it much more versatile as an office-based printer, the website added.

HP recently unveiled a string of new products, along with industry rivals Epson, Kodak and Brother, at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show, which took place in Las Vegas last week.
