Businesses do not have to sacrifice on quality if they opt for a printer at the cheaper end of the financial scale, it has been stated.

Simon Williams has reviewed the HP Deskjet D5560 printer for Computeractive and remarked that the print quality was good overall. He explained that the black printer ink used for text was "sharp", while users can also benefit from a bright look when coloured ink is chosen.

Meanwhile, Mr Williams pointed out that the printing quality onto both photo and plain paper was better than what was expected from a business-orientated printer. Other facts are that 28 pages can be printed per minute in black ink and that drops slightly to 21 when coloured printing ink is used.

Furthermore, all ink cartridges are available in two sizes, with those focused on value for money perhaps being better served choosing the larger option. HP recently unveiled two new printers featuring energy-saving technology which automatically sets the devices to standby when they become idle.
