HP Ink Printers Spice Up Images
Individuals looking for a printer that enhances their appearance may want to choose a product from HP.
Writing a blog for Computerworld, Robert Mitchell notes that there is a clear difference from the image a person will see on their computer screen to that which actually comes out of the printer.
He remarks that this may not be to do with the printer ink, but instead just that an extra effort is made to give images a more gleaming look, whether this be through brighter colours or richer skin tones.
The blog reports comments made by Thom Brown, a HP marketing manager, who said: "Most people tend to like the more vibrant photos. People tend to want to remember something that looks slightly better than reality.
"We tune for what the customer wants, not for accuracy."
Meanwhile, the move has been more positive for the company as it increases the number of people not only looking to buy HP printers but also ink cartridges.
PC World magazine noted last year that individuals looking for a good photo printer should look to compare shading and the detail in fabric weaves before making a purchase.
