Printer ink maker Hewlett Packard (HP) has launched a range of ePrint-enabled printers for the Malaysian market. Its new portfolio is made up of Officejet, Laserjet and Designjet devices, all created specifically for business use, the Sun Daily reports.

Using ePrint technology, users can print documents from any mobile device, making remote working smoother and easier. Firms can send documents of any type to any ePrint-enabled printer that has an internet connection.

The technology can be used from devices like smartphones, laptops and iPads, the news provider said. "If you can e-mail it, you can now print it," HP Malaysia general manager Bernard Chiang was quoted as saying. "This opens up a new world of possibilities for businesses, and what's more, we are breaking the barriers for business acceleration with innovations that are truly an industry first."

Last month, HP announced it had signed an agreement with the UK government to deliver cost-effective products for its public sector customers.
