HP To Unveil New ePrint App
Hewlett-Packard (HP) will unveil a new app for the ePrint Enterprise and HP ePrint Mobile Print Location products at a trade show this month, it has been reported.
ePrint allows users to print from a device, such as an iPhone or BlackBerry to a web-enabled printer – which uses ink cartridges – through email.
At the Mobile World Congress event, held in Barcelona, HP will showcase its webOS application for the ePrint tools, iewy.com reports.
The app offers a new user interface that makes it easier to print emails, reports, and well, just about any type of document to ePrint mobile locations – which can be found at places like hotels and airports.
"When, where and how work is conducted is changing," the website quoted HP as saying.
"The shift is being driven in large part by increasingly sophisticated mobile devices that tap into cloud services, giving people the power of communication and computing where business can happen."
The Mobile World Congress is the "must attend" annual meet of the mobile industry, attracting over 50,000 people from 200 countries.
